Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Each plan includes a weekly allowance of email credits that resets every seven days while your subscription is active.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account page (which opens the Stripe billing portal). When you cancel:
- you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for;
- you won't be billed again;
- unused weekly credits don't roll over or convert to a refund — they simply stop resetting once the paid period ends.
If you bought a one-off month (rather than an auto-renewing subscription), it ends automatically at the end of that month.
Refunds
Because plans are low-cost and monthly, we generally don't refund the current month once it has started — cancelling simply stops future billing. That said, we want you to be happy: if something went wrong, you were charged in error, or you cancelled but were billed anyway, email us at hello@getnearside.co.uk and we'll put it right.
Your statutory rights (UK)
If you're a consumer in the UK, you normally have a 14-day "cooling-off" right to cancel a new purchase of a digital service. Because Nearside is a digital service you can start using immediately, this right may not apply once you've begun using the paid features within that period. This does not affect your other legal rights. If in doubt, contact us and we'll help.
How to request a refund
Email hello@getnearside.co.uk with the email on your account and a short note about what happened. We aim to respond within two working days.
